    What is meant by PSTM certificate? i have completed my 10th and 12th through tamil medium can i eligible otherwise should we complete our degree in tamil? pls help sire

      as per the TNPSC instruction and based on the post applied education qualification. for example if 10 qualification u can get from your high school head master

      PSTM Certificate
      (To be issued only by the Head of Institution)
      This is certify that Thiru/ Tmt. ...............(Name)..........has studied (course Name ) ...............(B.A./B.Sc.B.E., etc.,) during the year .............to.......... in Tamil Medium
      . This certificate is issued after verifying the course content / statement of Marks /Transfer Certificate. The candidate has / has not obtained scholarship for having studied in Tamil Medium.

    PSTM is Persons Studied in Tamil Medium. If you have studied the prefered qualification (in the notification) in Tamil medium, then you're eligible to avail 20% preference in the posting. So you have to get PSTM certificate from your institution/school in which you studied. For 10 & +2 you can get it from the Headmaster. For degree holders it should be from the head of the institution/Principal.
